Title
Dalton Rooks driving children in his two-horse open sleigh in the snow around Willoughby Park.
Date
Jan. 1979.
Description
Dalton Rooks driving children in his two-horse open sleigh around Willoughby Park. Used in the Columbian Newspaper, perhaps January 29, 1979; caption is glued to the back of the photograph and reads "WINTER FROLICS. . . The weatherman's forecast was for snow, followed by little children on sleighs. . .uh, little children? Well, actually, that was Dalton Rook of Langley driving his two-horse open sleigh around Willoughby Park, Langley, to rekindle the spirits of winters past for his children and their friends. Even his horses, Barney and Maggie, seemed to enjoy their run in the crisp, clear, sheer fun of a sunny day in the snow".
