The roll is wooden with metal endings, and has a roll of paper with holes wound around it. The cardboard box has a green lid (c), and a white main body (b); the main box body has two wooden holders for the metal ends of the roll. The box is scuffed around the corners. There is a cream sticker on one end of the box lid which reads "45322/ Angelus/ In My Neighbor's Garden /E. Nevin / THE WILCOX & WHITE COMPANY/ Meriden, Conn., U.S.A." in black text. The roll also has a cream sticker with the same information, although it Is ripped an hanging off by a small scrap. The roll has the U.S., Great Britain, German, and French patents of the product, all in blue ink stamped on it once unrolled. Below the patents reads "Key of Bb." Sides of the roll have frayed and yellowed with age. The rectangular holes in the roll are for the player piano to "read" the music and play the song. Above the cream sticker on the roll is a stamp in blue ink reading "THE SALE OF THIS MUSIC ROLL CON-/ VEYS NO IMPLIED LICENSE UNDER ANY/ PATENT COVERING ANY INSTRUMENT/ IN WHICH IT MAY BE USED."
