Almond Brown was born in the United States in about 1871, the son of Robert (Sr.) and Eleanor (Ella) Brown. The Brown Family came to Langley in 1884.

Brown, Olive Augusta Bell
Olive Augusta Bell Brown was born at home on Brown Road (240th Street) Langley, on August 21, 1887 to Eleanor (nee McCormack) and Robert Brown. Midwife Mrs. McGillivary was in attendance. She married James Henry O'Hara, a civil engineer, in New Westminster on February 12, 1912. The couple had seven daughters and three sons. James passed away in 1940. Olive then married Thure Storme, a gill-netting fisherman, on November 7, 1942 in Vancouver. She passed away in New Westminster on March 3, 1966.
Brown, Robert, Jr.
Robert Brown, Jr. was born in Ontario in about 1882 to parents Robert and Eleanor (Ella) Brown. The family came to Langley in 1884.
Brown, Robert, Sr.
Robert Brown Sr. was married to Eleanor (Ella) McCormack, and came to Langley with his family in 1884. He was a farmer, but had previously fought against Louis Riel in the North-West Rebellion. In 1900 he owned a couple pieces of land on 240th Street, part of which was known as Brown Road. The Browns and their son Henry farmed with oxen.

THERE ARE FOUR WILLIAM BROWNS in Langley's history. This William Brown was a son of Robert Brown. He lived in Langley Prairie, and is of no relation to Fort Langley's William Harvey (Billy) Brown.

Marie Harvie (nee Brown) was married to Robert Harvie. Mother of Claude, Clair and Robert Jr.
