While there was a Duckworths' Store in Fort Langley for a time, the Duckworths' in Langley Prairie was located in two units in the Lyttleton Building on Fraser Highway before moving to a stand alone building farther east on Fraser Highway in 1938. Duckworth's later had a store in Cloverdale, too, but closed in 1973 because of the competition from national chain stores. Auld-Phillips took over the space and concentrated on the sale of ladies clothing.

Langley Prairie Meat Market came to be known as Fuller's Meat Market in 1927 when E. R. (Ted) Fuller renamed his local butcher shop. Fuller had visited Langley Prairie in 1919 and decided to stay. He bought the village's first bucher shop in 1920, located near Profontaine's store. In 1922 he moved the business closer to the centre of the commercial area, building a new shop just east of the Prairie's new Royal Bank (on today's Fraser Hwy-2004), on land previously used for Jim Gibbon's blacksmith shop. In 1959 Fuller sold his property to the Royal Bank, who tore it down and established a new branch. In the meantime, Fuller's Meat Market relocated to a new location on Douglas Crescent and was carried on by his sons, Jack and Roy (Pete).

Established circa 1920 by Angus Plewes. It was managed by his wife Erla after Angus' sudden death in 1938. The store was later owned by Harold Brandow in 1945 and renamed Brandow's Drugstore. Harold's son, Murray followed in his father's footsteps and worked at the store after studying pharmacy at UBC. The store was closed in 1981.

Totem Foods - a "Red and White store" - was located in the previous Elliott's Stores location in Langley Prairie from 1937 to 1958. It was run by John W. Davis.
