Walfrid Johnson was the brother of Eskil Kilian Johnson. He travelled to Canada from Sweden with his brother, and they settled on 40 acres at the corner of McLarty and Carvolth Roads in Willoughby (80 Avenue and 200 Street). Walfrid lived on the eastern 20 acres of property until he became sick and moved into Langley Lodge.
