Bishop's Reliable Cycle and Sports Store was opened by George Bishop in 1940, when it was called G. S. Bishop and Son. Randy Bishop began working in his grandfather's store in 1972, and he became the owner in the 1980s[?], renaming it Mad Dog's Source for Sports. Bishop's focused on fishing, hunting, and bicycles among other sports, while Mad Dog's focuses on skiing and snowboarding, and has another branch named Bishop's Outdoor Living which focuses on patio furniture and hot tubs.
