Description
Men's work shoes (a-b), "Loggers' boots". Metal sole, heel and toe. Leather upper. The metal soles have nails along the sides and on the bottom (for traction?).

Pepin Family
The Pepin family is one of Langley's pioneer settler families. Thomas Pepin was from Ontario, while his wife Lucy Ann Annand was born in Nova Scotia. They both moved here in the late 1800s and raised their family in the Langley area. They had a home in Campbell Valley Many of their children also continued to live here. Members include their son: Alexander Joseph Pepin, married to Edna Wilhelmina Pepin (nee Wilson), Lilian May Pepin (nee Peacey), Alfred Pepin, Maureen Pepin (nee Sankey), and Marie Edna Browning (nee Pepin).
Pepin, Alfred E. (Fred)
Alfred (Fred) Pepin is a grandson of Thomas Alfred Pepin, a pioneer settler of the Langley, B.C., area. He is married to Maureen Sankey. He is involved in the P. Y. Porter Tailgate Programme, and the Langley Heritage Society. He was awarded the Freedom of the Municipality in 2006.
