They settled on the north end of the Hudson's Bay Company Farm in Fort Langley. Thomas Prior Mufford's brother and his wife, Joseph and Ann (nee Francis) Mufford, ended up settling in Langley, too.

Mufford, Annie
Annie Mufford (nee Mufford) was born October 3, 1872 to Thomas Prior and Millicent (nee Udy) Mufford. When she was roughly a year old, her family moved from Cornwall, England, to Ontario, and lived there a few years before moving to Nanaimo, B.C. for about a year. The family then moved to Langley, taking up land in the Milner area. Annie married her cousin, William John Mufford, on April 17, 1895. They had three sons, William Delbert Vernon (Vern), Norbert (Norman?) Drew, and Lloyd Winston Mufford, as well as two daughters, Annie Rosalind (Rossi) Heale and Olivia Rosalie, who died as an infant in 1895. Annie was very active in the Milner United Church. She died in Milner on June 16, 1942 at the age of 69, and is buried in the Fort Langley Cemetery.
Mufford, Elizabeth Ruth (Ruth)
Eilzabeth Ruth Mufford (nee Harding) was born in Chatham, Ont. in 1875. She met and married Jonathan Hicks (John) Mufford at the age of 18 in 1893. They had five children: Leonard Hicks (Len), Albert Percival (Percy), John Reginald (Reg), Wallace Victor, and Aurelia Olive (Relly). She died in September of 1973.
Mufford, Matilda (Tillie)
Matilda Ellen Mountain was born May 18, 1902 in Halifax, N.S. to parents James and Minnie Mountain. The family moved to Vancouver in 1912, and to Milner a year later. On April 26, 1922 she married Albert Edward (Eddie) Mufford. They had two children: William Thomas and Patricia Millicent. Tillie died on May 26, 1992, and is buried in the Fort Langley Cemetery.
