Long silk-like rectangular scarf. The scarf is blue paisley with fringe. The manufacturer's label reads: "Tootal Regd. Made in England/ Wash as silk."

Bournes, Elizabeth, Mrs.
Elizabeth Bournes, nee Mallet was born in England in 1861. She married William Bournes in 1888 and settled in New Westminister. Her mother, Janet Mallet (1833-96) bought land next store. Elizabeth had three children, Rosina Maud, Ellen Elizabeth, and Beatrice Mabel. She died 1934.
Bournes, William C.
Charles Bournes came to Canada from England w and settled in New Wesminister on Section 29 B5NR1W in the summer of 1887. He married Elizabeth Mallett in 1888. They had three children, Rosina Maud, Ellen Elizabeth, and Beatrice Mable. He died in 1931 and left behind an estate worth $18,816.
