Dahl, Albert
Albert Dahl was born on February 6, 1888, in Borgestad, Norway. The 1911 Canada census (Kenora, Ontario) states he arrived in Canada in 1908. He married to Helga Edvarda Solvieg Magnussen on June 16, 1913 in Winnipeg, Manitoba and they had 5 children: Edna, Pearl, Nora, Ralph, and Raymond. They settled in the Sperling District in 1928, where Albert was an active carpenter and commercial fisherman until his retirement. Albert made his own boats. Albert was a long time member of the Harmsworth Cribbage Club, and died on June 1, 1973 at the age of 85.
