Commemorative saucer for Queen Elizabeth II's Coronation, on June 2, 1953. There is a brown photo image of the Queen wearing her crown and pearls on one side of the saucer. She is flanked by the royal crest (a lion on the left and a unicorn on the right). At the top of the portrait are the letters "_NA"; they are not legible. At the bottom of the portrait in a green ribbon that reads "June 2nd/ELIZABETH II/1953" below which is printed in brown font "CORONATION." On the opposite side of the saucer there is a red crown below which is printed "EIIR" in gold font. The backside centre displays a maker's mark: a crown below which is printed "ROYAL ALBERT/Bone China/ENGLAND."
